We adopted Wilbur about a year and a half ago at the ripe age of 11. His physical health was fairly good for an elderly dog but we noticed that his anxiety was high. He couldn’t even look at my husband without stopping and urinating wherever he was. The weirdest things would make “Wilby” (as we call him) act skittish and hide for hours.
